We are trying to book a vacation for January 2011. Would like to enjoy the beaches in the mornings, followed by some excursions/ water sports (jet skis)/ Atv’s. Then to enjoy some bars and restaurants a few nights. Girlfriend also enjoys shopping. Was leaning towards Aruba or Nassau. Any input?
We are taking a family vacation in July to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation, her 18th birthday and also our 20th anniversary. We have narrowed it down to either the Bahamas or the US Virgin Islands. We want a clear, sandy beach but also a nice pool. For the most part we want to relax but want to do a few things like swim with the dolphins and maybe go site seeing a bit. We like nature rather than shopping. We have 5 people in our family so it is difficult to find a hotel room that will allow that many people. I have thought about renting a condo but we really want a nice pool. We have a moderate budget and don’t want to spend a ton of money. Atlantis looks great but we can’t afford 0-00 per night. We were hoping more in the range of 0 a night. If we go to the Virgin Islands, which one do you recommend?
for nature, sightseeing, diving, beaches and water activites
also shopping but is it like really expensive or a reasonable price
and also know and good reasonable priced hotels/resorts?

Do I need a passport to travel to st. Thomas? Were going in January what is the weather like? What are a few things that we could do as a family; Dinning, activities, dolphins and shopping? help me out and let me know so me and my family can have a great time. My husband is coming back from Iraq in December and I picked St. Thomas for our family vacation so I would like it to be special for him. Please give me some suggestions…. Thank You.
Rather than frantic shopping and rainy cold weather, a change might be nice. It would involve no gifts, a warm fun vacation and lots of gathered memories. What do you think and where would you go? I’m thinking the Virgin Islands maybe?
We are looking for great hotels, private cottages, condos, etc either in Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands that make for a great vacation, and are relaxing and convenient to attractions, such as sailboating, parasailing, shopping, etc.
The stay would need to be reasonably priced, from 0-0 a night, ocean/beach front, and nice, of course.

My family (2 adults, 3 kids-3,14,&18) are planning on going to the caribbean in february or april…whats a really nice island to go to for a nice relaxing vacation? What are some good resorts (preferably with an outstanding beach and a spa) that aren’t super expensive…and what time of the year is best to go?

My husband and I want to go to the Caribbean on vacation in November (over Thanksgiving). I have earned enough miles that the airfare is free and my parents can get us a timeshare at almost any island. I have two kids ages 5 (girl) and 3 (boy). Both love animals. My son really likes fish. I would like great shopping and historical sites. My husband likes to golf. Any suggestions on which island to visit? Our top thoughts are Puerto Rico, Caymen Island and Aruba. Thanks!
