It’s summer again so I have a question:
I’m looking for a vacation destination/resort anywhere in the Islands (Bahamas, Caribbeans, Cancun, Dominican Republic). Im looking for a top notch, fun, and nice place. A good example of this would be the Atlantis resort but they aren’t all inclusive and their meal plans aren’t too good.

Puerto Rico is located in the northeastern Caribbean, east of the Dominican Republic and west of the Virgin Islands; approximately 1,280 miles off the coast of Florida. First we went to the beautiful city of San Juan, which is the capital and largest municipality on Puerto Rico. It is also the oldest city in Puerto Rico as well as in the United States, and the second oldest European-established city in the Americas. As soon as we left the airport we bought tickets which cost us 5 dollars to take the metro system called the Tren Urbano to our hotel, the Ceiba Ocean Front Penthouse which was one of the best hotels in the town. It had a pool, a bar, a park, and it was next to a big mall. After putting our luggage in our rooms, we left the hotel and then took a train to San Juan and visited the Puerto Rico Arts Museum which owns the largest collection of contemporary art in Puerto Rico. I’m going on vacation with a friend and her family this summer, and they’re having problems planning and deciding where to go, so I told them i’d try to help out. None of us have ever been to the caribbean before. They want to stay at an all inclusive resort, somewhere that has a lot to do for adults (my friend and i are 19 and 18, then her parents…parents are okay with drinking/partying, and we love adventuring and being active) but not crazy overpopulated with tourists. we want to be around people but not be suffocated ha. Budget isn’t a super big issue but it’d be cool to save some money on the trip as well. I think the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, or Turks and Caicos might be cool, but I have no idea. any input on good resorts, good places to look online for package deals/airfare deals, things to do while there, and anything else noteworthy would be great.

For Winter Break this year, my family is going to the Dominican Republic or another Caribbean island. I used to have a sister (complicated), but not really anymore. In short, she won’t be joining us. I want to bring my friend on vacation with us. I haven’t asked my parents yet, and I want to know the best way to approach them about this.
My father is usually more willing, but my mother isn’t. I think the worst part will be her saying it’s a "family vacation," but I’m going on a trip through Europe for Spring Break with my parents, so…
My friend has offered to pay her share (Brigitte, they so won’t make you do that), and I mean, I’d offer to pay as much as I could for her or for me from my own money…
I just don’t know how to drop it by them.
Me and my friend (16) are going to the caribbean next march with our moms. we want to go to an all inclusive hotel that has very nice pools, a very nice beach, and good food. We don’t want to go to Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, or Dominican Republic. I’ve already been to them and i want to go to others even though those islands were excellent.
I want to go to Turks and Caicos, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Antigua,Aruba, Barbados any of them. but i’m open to other hotels also. If you have any hotels with expiriences taht would be wonderful. my friends mom wants a 4 star hotel or better but as long as it has nice pool S, that’s fine with me!

my friends and I, who are age 20,18 and 18 would like to go on a caribbean vaction around christmas. We want to go somewhere cheap as we are on a tight budget. We would like it to be all-inclusive however that is not manditory! We were thinking of going to (but not limited to)

-dominican republic
so my guestion is do you know of any good resorts or hotels that offer good deals. or where i could find some? as well as flights

Need ultimate beach and sun but also want to be able to hire a scooter/car to explore – and do other activities like cycling, hiking etc.

to go through a travel agen or try and find rates myself. I have done some research and it seems like the info is almost too much to take in. We are thinking of either, Virgin Islands, Cancun, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, or maybe somewhere else, alot of it depends on the deal we can get and what is best for our 2 kids ages 7 and 8 by the time we go (it would be next year , if we can). thanks
Ok, so we have been doing some research; but still dont know where the best place to go. Somewhere relaxing, all inclusive, no kids running around and not to expensive. Maybe Jamaica, Bahamas, or Dominican Republic. I need some advise on where to go, and where to stay. If anyone has had any experiance on any of these island, please give me some input! Thanks!
