So im going on a cruise in april for our family vacation. Ive never been on a cruise, and im so excited! We’re going in the Caribbean, and stopping in Jamaica and Mexico. But I have a few questions? First of all, I want to know if im going to have to be under adult supervision the whole time? im 17, twin sisters are 15. Are we going to have to follow my parents around all day? or can we just go do our own thing? Like can my parents go swimming while I go and get a massage or something? And that leads to my second question: to get massages and stuff, will it cost extra? (besides tipping). Or can I just like walk in and say I want a massage? because if so… i’d be in there all day. haha

Also, are we going to need passports if we’re docking and getting off in mexico, and jamaica and the cayman islands? (btw… what territory are the cayman islands in? just wondering.)

and, will I need to get shots and vaccines since we’ll be doing things off the ship in mexico in rainforests and stuff.

My sister in law and I have been looking for cruises during July. It’s just going to be four of us (my bf, me, her and her husband) and since it’s the first time my bf and I will cruise and we REALLY need a vacation, we thought it would be fun to go on the Dream cruise. My sis in law thinks it’s too expensive for her and her husband since they have other vacation plans with their kids as well. Also, they feel it’s too long and they’ve cruise a few times before and they told us that by the 5th day you really just want to get out of the ship. The Dream Cruise goes for a whole week and the itinerary I was looking at was for the Bahamas, St.Thomas, and St. Marteen. Now we really want a ship that goes that way but that we don’t have to fly into P.R to get to it. Is there any other ships that cruise to the east part of the caribbean but leave from Miami and that are 3-5 days? Or that go to Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Mexico? During July only!

Oh and if you’ve been on the Dream, is it fun? Is it better to go in a group or more fun if I just go with my bf?

Like I you know, I have a boyfriend and I have NO clue why you would even bring up all the dirty stuff you can do on a cruise ship. I leave that for skanks and whores. I am a US Citizen looking to move to the Caribbean and I am looking for suggestions on which island I should move to.

Please do not turn this question into a debate about qualifying for citizenship, immigration and work authorization. I can obtain a legal residency status in almost any nation.

Which island would be of most benefit based on my expectations.

- white sandy beaches with no shortage of gorgeous water

- limited rocky coastlines and limited elevations

- no bigger than jamica or st. croix in land mass

- does not have a fierce hatred for the United States

- mostly English speaking

- island where a skilled american with legal rights to work can find a job

Going on a vacation to the Caribbean soon and one of the things I would like to do is swim with the sharks. Anyone know any specific countries/places I can do this at? The more detail you provide the better, because I really am trying to find a place. Some of the possible places me and my friends want to go to are Martinique, Grenada, Cayman Islands, Aruba, Bermuda, and Barbados. Hopefully someone knows of some places you can do that there among other fun things? While spending as little as we can, we have around 00 but are saving more. Me and my mother(ages 28 and 58) are looking to go on a nice relaxing cruise. I don’t want the party ships our main interests are the swimming pools and good spas, good food, and the best beaches and snorkeling at the best islands in the Caribbean. This will probably be in the fall Sept-Oct. We do want at least a week if not a few days more. I do not want to go to Mexico, Jamaica, or the Cayman Islands. We are mostly interested in the Easter or Southern Caribbean. Also we are looking into either Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity, Holland America, or Norwegian Cruise Line. What cruise line would be better and if you know of a good cruise that meets what we want let me know.

okay well every summer, march break and christmas holidays me, my sister and my parents go on vacation together or with cousines. me and my sister are 14 and 15 btw. this christmas we have three options we dont know witch one to chose. we’d be going from december 27-january 3. witch do u think is best: a week in maui hawaii at a resort, a cruise through all of hawaii, or a caribbean cruise going through florida, haiti, jamaica, cayman islands and mexico?! we’re trying to decide ont hese three!!

I am going on vacation this summer to the Caribbean and the keys. I booked a 5 night Caribbean cruise that goes to the Cayman Islands and Jamaica. Afterwards, I planned on going to the keys for five days. However, I can change the cruise to a 7 night cruise and go to Cozumel, Mexico as well. And it’s only like 0 more for the longer cruise when you factor hotels, food, and car rental for the keys. But, I would be limited to only 2 days in the keys. Should I change the cruise or not? And if you have been to the keys, which are you favorite?
And the longer cruise is a much nicer ship.

it’s my dad’s 50th birthday and we wanted to go somewhere tropical. it would be in august, which may be hard cause it’s hurricane season. we’ve been to the majority of the islands in the Caribbean, on cruises and/or just staying in resorts. does anyone have any good places to go? maybe suggest a hotel or even just a good spot to go, ex bahamas. i would LOVE to go to the cayman islands! money wise, normally we don’t worry too much about money but this summer we have to go to 3 weddings! so that might call for a more feasible vacation this summer, so yeah ANY THOUGHTS?
