So im going on a cruise in april for our family vacation. Ive never been on a cruise, and im so excited! We’re going in the Caribbean, and stopping in Jamaica and Mexico. But I have a few questions? First of all, I want to know if im going to have to be under adult supervision the whole time? im 17, twin sisters are 15. Are we going to have to follow my parents around all day? or can we just go do our own thing? Like can my parents go swimming while I go and get a massage or something? And that leads to my second question: to get massages and stuff, will it cost extra? (besides tipping). Or can I just like walk in and say I want a massage? because if so… i’d be in there all day. haha

Also, are we going to need passports if we’re docking and getting off in mexico, and jamaica and the cayman islands? (btw… what territory are the cayman islands in? just wondering.)

and, will I need to get shots and vaccines since we’ll be doing things off the ship in mexico in rainforests and stuff.

My sister in law and I have been looking for cruises during July. It’s just going to be four of us (my bf, me, her and her husband) and since it’s the first time my bf and I will cruise and we REALLY need a vacation, we thought it would be fun to go on the Dream cruise. My sis in law thinks it’s too expensive for her and her husband since they have other vacation plans with their kids as well. Also, they feel it’s too long and they’ve cruise a few times before and they told us that by the 5th day you really just want to get out of the ship. The Dream Cruise goes for a whole week and the itinerary I was looking at was for the Bahamas, St.Thomas, and St. Marteen. Now we really want a ship that goes that way but that we don’t have to fly into P.R to get to it. Is there any other ships that cruise to the east part of the caribbean but leave from Miami and that are 3-5 days? Or that go to Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Mexico? During July only!

Oh and if you’ve been on the Dream, is it fun? Is it better to go in a group or more fun if I just go with my bf?

Like I you know, I have a boyfriend and I have NO clue why you would even bring up all the dirty stuff you can do on a cruise ship. I leave that for skanks and whores. I need your help…

Instead of throwing a 40th party at a bar or elsewhere…I want to plan a trip for my husbands 40th. This will be our first trip away from our little girl who will be almost one by next March. We would be open to anywhere warm, relaxing, pampering and entertaining with night life. I thought about a Caribbean or Mediterranean cruise or Lake Mead/Tahoe/Catalina Island.

The only thing that throws a wrench in things is our friends are celebrating their engagement in Vegas and we might start out there for the Friday/Saturday, but am trying to find a good destination from there. Please share your destination experiences with me that may be a good place to go… Even if Vegas does not fit into the mix I want to hear.

Where have you and yours had the most memorable time?

I know this scenario is on the far fetched side. But here goes.

You buy a private island let’s say in the Caribbean. The island is under the sovereignty of the Bahamas.

You develop the island and turn it into a top shelf tourist destination. Of course this will cost millions of dollars to accomplish.

Tourists flock to your vacation spot with 5 star hotels, gambling, sandy beaches and fun times for all.

You decide you want to be free of Bahamian law and implement your own laws. So you negotiate with the government of the Bahamas to let your island go and you sign a proper treaty with the Bahamas regarding national defense (you’ll pay for it), human rights (which you respect), immigration (your hotel workers need places to live) and it all agreed to.

So, can you then become ruler of your own nation?

I am planning a trip to the caribbean for February, 2011. Any ideas for which island to visit. My husband and I will be going and are looking for reasonable rates. We will not be traveling with children and are looking for a relaxing beach vacation. We are not that interested in adventurous activities, mostly laying on beach and enjoying food and drink during the day. A quiet, relaxing get away. Any ideas?

I would love to hear of some great places/companies that helped with your day, recommendations etc … The other option is to find a huge villa on the beach to rent for a week and decorate acordingly so we can have the ceremony on the sand closeby….any suggestions?

I’m supposed to be finding a place to go for vacation next winter break for my family of 5 + 1(oldest brother’s girlfriend). We have some places, but for example our spot in Mexico is being run over by the cartels and we’ve already been to Hawaii, so naturally we thought of the Caribbean. My family is 2 teenagers (18 + 14 both male), 1 young adult (20, male) and then our dad and mom. They hate being tourists and don’t like to stay at hotels. Everyone in our family surfs (very well i might add) and we don’t want it to be too expensive. What would be the best island in the Carribean for our family to visit?

Okay, my mom is all of the sudden contacted me and she wants me to visit her during summer vacation……. I don’t want to though, here’s the reason….. My mom and dad and I moved to this tiny little island in the Caribbean…… All of the sudden she wanted to leave my dad (keep in mind i was only 3 at the time)……… After a little while she wouldn’t let anyone see me, not even my own dad…….. So finally she let me and my dad go to the beach and my dad took me to the states to get a divorce with my mom…… My mom got custody because she said that my dad beat me and my grandparents were mean to me….. But none of that was true what so ever….. When they were at court i stayed at my Aunt and Uncle’s house… She moved so many times i had been to at least 8 different kindergartens by the end of the year… I only got to see my dad on Saturdays…….. My dad wanted to see more of me…….. They went back to court…. He got full custody of me….. But he let me see my mom on holidays or when i wanted to……….. She got me a phone (i was 8 by then)……. But she would never call me or text me…….All of the sudden my phone shut down and i couldn’t call or text anyone……. I haven’t Heard from her since i was 10…….. WHAT DO I TELL HER!?!?!?!?!?!? (I’m 13 now)

Wouldn’t it be amazing if there was a island or something where you could pretty much live life as a huge sexual fantasy? You could walk around naked all day. have sex anywhere you wanted. For example if you were at dinner and you saw someone you like and they liked you so you just started doing it right there. That would be an amazing place to go on vacation to for a week. Obvious STD’s would have to be looked into.

Does a place like this or just a nudist island in the caribbean exist? I’m thinking a sex island like that does but I bet a nude beach does exist.
